Animal Sounds - 100 Buttons
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 24 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SilverScarcity / Squaremelon Games (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles information when you use Animal Sounds - 100 Buttons (the “App”), an Android entertainment and educational soundboard.
Summary
The App displays advertisements using Google AdMob and offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to remove advertisements. The App does not require a user account and we do not directly ask users to provide names, email addresses, photographs, contacts, precise location or other profile information.
Google services used by the App may automatically process technical information for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, app performance and purchase processing.
Information processed through advertising
The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to display advertisements. Depending on device settings, consent choices, region, age treatment and Google’s configuration, the SDK may automatically collect or share information such as:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate a general location;
- device and account identifiers, which may include the Android advertising ID or app set ID;
- app interactions, including app launches, taps, ad impressions and video views;
- diagnostic and performance information, including launch time, crashes, hangs and energy usage; and
- information used for advertising delivery, measurement, analytics, security and fraud prevention.
Information transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is handled by Google under Google’s own privacy terms. The exact processing may vary according to the version and configuration of the SDK, applicable law, consent choices and the user’s Google or Android settings.
Children and advertising
The App is intended to be suitable for a broad audience, including children. Advertising settings are configured with the intention of complying with applicable Google Play Families and child-directed advertising requirements.
Where required, advertisements may be limited or non-personalised, and Google may restrict the use of advertising identifiers or personalised advertising. Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of the App and review the privacy and advertising controls available through the child’s device, Google account and Google Play settings.
One-time in-app purchase
The App offers an optional one-time purchase to remove advertisements. This purchase is processed through Google Play Billing.
Google Play processes payment and billing information under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive full payment-card or bank-account details. The App may receive limited purchase information, such as whether the purchase was completed, cancelled, refunded or restored, so that the ad-removal entitlement can be activated and restored.
After the purchase has been recognised, the App stops requesting or displaying its normal in-app advertisements. Google Play may still process purchase, installation, security, diagnostics or platform analytics information independently of AdMob.
Information we do not directly request
The App does not provide user accounts, public profiles, chat, messaging or user-generated content. We do not directly ask users to submit their name, postal address, phone number, contacts, photographs, microphone recordings, precise location or payment-card information through the App.
Google Play analytics and diagnostics
When the App is downloaded, installed, updated, purchased or used through Google Play, Google may process installation information, device and operating-system details, country or general region, app usage, purchase activity, crash reports and other technical diagnostics.
We may receive aggregated or limited reports through Google Play Console and AdMob to understand installations, stability, performance, advertising and purchase results. We use these reports to operate, maintain and improve the App rather than to identify individual users.
How information is used
Information processed through the services used by the App may be used to:
- deliver, limit and measure advertisements;
- apply consent, age-related or privacy settings;
- detect invalid traffic, abuse, security threats and fraud;
- process and restore the one-time ad-removal purchase;
- measure installations, usage and technical performance; and
- diagnose crashes and improve reliability.
Sharing and sale of information
We do not sell personal information. Technical information may be collected or shared with Google as the provider of AdMob, Google Play, Google Play Billing and related platform services. Google determines its own retention and further processing practices under its privacy policies.
We may also disclose information available to us where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect users, our rights or the security of the App.
Data retention and deletion
We do not maintain a separate user-account database for the App. Google may retain advertising, analytics, diagnostics, installation and purchase information according to its own retention practices and legal obligations.
Users can manage or reset certain advertising identifiers and privacy choices through Android, Google account and device settings. Purchase records may need to be retained by Google for billing, tax, fraud prevention, refunds and entitlement restoration.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have legal rights concerning personal information processed about you. Requests relating to information controlled by Google should normally be made through Google’s privacy tools and account controls.
You can remove the App from your device at any time. You can also purchase the one-time ad-removal option, where available, to stop advertisements from being displayed within the App.
Third-party services
The App uses services supplied by Google, including Google AdMob, Google Play and Google Play Billing. Those services operate under Google’s own privacy policy, terms and user controls.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App, advertising configuration, purchase features, third-party services or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
